      Zippin Ina Fancy Vest, aka Pam, is a very special horse for Sunglow Acres.  After showing many years in  the Northwest Iowa "Open" Horse Show Assoc. we decided to kick it up a notch -- going big time!
     Spring of 2001, I loaded Pam up and hit the highways for the APHA show circuit.   We showed  in Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin,  Nebraska, and  the Congress in Wichita!  For our first year of showing, we earned  Superior Award in Nov. Am Western Pleasure,  ROM in both Am and Jr. Western Pleasure, Top Ten in Nov. W.P. at the Congress too!   We were as high as number 11 on the APHA Honor Roll  for Novice Western Pleasure, and ended up 16th overall. Early  in 2002, we accomplished our second Superior Award in Amateur Western Pleasure.   Before retiring Pam from the show pen, we had earned 81 Nov. Western Pleasure Points, 62 Amateur Western Pleasure Points, and 22 Open Western Pleasure Points.  
      When I need a horse for trail rides, I saddle up Pam.
      When I need a horse for family to ride, I saddle up Pam.
      When I need  a show horse for my granddaughter Raigen,  I will saddled up Pam!!
